A “cookie” is a small text file that is stored on an individual’s computer or mobile device after being downloaded when he or she visits a website or uses an app. Cookies then send information back to the originating website or app on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes that same cookie.

Cookies perform different jobs, such as allowing you to navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving a user’s experience on a website or with an app.

Flying Gybe Inc. (“Gybe,” “we,” “us,” etc.) and its GybeMaps app (collectively, the Platform) use different types of cookies:

  • Essential or Required Cookies.
These are cookies that are required to make our Website or App function properly and cannot be turned off in our systems.  If you block these cookies, portions of our Website or App may not function properly.

  • Performance and Functional Cookies.
Performance and functional cookies allow us, and third parties we hire to collect information on our behalf, to count visits and sources of traffic on our Website (
https://www.gybe.eco/) and app (https://gybemaps.gybe.eco/) so we can measure and improve their performance and functionality. They help us know which pages and features of our Platform are most and least popular and how visitors navigate through it. Some of these cookies are third party cookies.

  • Advertising and Social Media Cookies.
These cookies allow you to share information using social media sharing buttons (such as the Facebook “Like”) on social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter. This information may then be used by the social media network to deliver targeted advertising to you.

We may use cookies to aggregate personal information collected automatically with data (including personal information) previously stored from other interactions with our Platform and third-party sites. We examine metrics, such as which pages you visit or features you use, which links you click on and resources you view, the performance of our marketing efforts, and your response to those marketing efforts. This allows us to offer relevant and useful information to customers, as well as to users of the products and services of our third-party partners.

If you wish to opt out of allowing certain cookies, you may do so by changing your browser settings so that cookies from our Platform cannot be set. Please note that if you delete, block, or otherwise restrict cookies, or use a different computer or Internet browser, you will need to renew your cookie management choices. You have the choice to refuse cookies by turning them off in your Internet browser. Note that if you change Internet browsers, you will need to make the same setting change in your new browser.

Also note that certain cookies are necessary for our Platform to function properly and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you that amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of our Platform will not work if you block them. These cookies do not store any information that identifies you directly but are based on identifying your browser and internet device.

Our Platform uses the following cookies:
