Dr. Nicholas Tufillaro
Founder and CTO
Nick's career has straddled industry and academia, and has included work at Los Alamos National Labs, HP Labs, Otago University and Oxford. Since 2009, he has focused on applying remote sensing to monitor water resources as a research professor at Oregon State University.

Ivan Lalović
Founder and CEO
Ivan led engineering and product teams for Fortune 500 companies including HP, AMD and ASML enabling new computing and communication products. He in his element rolling-up his sleeves and working with customers to solve important and complex problems and delivering game-changing products, services and technologies.
Omar Zurita
Founder and COO
Omar is a systems expert with broad expertise in manufacturing, development and applications of optics, electronics and metrology systems, and has helped develop some of the world's most complex laser systems. He is a southern California native, where water supply shortages are common, and is driven by use of technology to address key environmental problems.
Dr. Philipp Grötsch
Head of Product Development
Philipp is a physicist who has devoted his career to environmental monitoring with a focus on water quality. For most of his professional life, he's been bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and its timely application to real-life problems in industry. His mission is to raise environmental awareness and advance the transition to a data-driven green economy.
Adam Belmonte
Project Manager, R&D Programs
Adam is a remote sensing scientist with a diverse background in technological applications for water resource management. Throughout his personal and professional experiences he has chased water in its many forms, from urban green infrastructure to agricultural water rights to snowmelt in forests. He is driven to provide actionable, forward-thinking solutions to ensure global long term water security.
Sara De Moitié
UX Design + Marketing
Sara De Moitie is a strategic and user centred designer. She has experience in marketing, UX, UI and graphic design, working at every stage across the design and development process, from front end strategy to detailed design and development. She has also worked as a coach for startups and has taught design thinking in several university courses, including a year long master’s course at Aalto and Stanford University.
Clemente Borgogni
Intern, R&D Programs
Clemente is interning for Gybe during a leave of absence from Georgetown University where he majors in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. He is driven by an interest in sustainability and a connection to water cultivated by close to a decade of rowing.
Alexis Nelson, MBA, MSF
Head of Finance & Business Strategy
Alexis’s professional background spans the industries of venture capital, agricultural and clean
technology, and investment management. Her functional expertise includes economic and financial
analysis, investment strategy, and business and corporate development. She is passionate about
optimizing profitability while maximizing the positive social and environmental impact of innovative
products and services.

Dr. Richard Gould
Gybe has developed a unique and accessible approach to measure water quality in a wide variety of water bodies. Their technology will become an equalizer in terms of providing high-resolution and high-accuracy data for water quality in rivers, lakes and reservoirs in an open and transparent way that can be easily scaled up for broad spatial coverage around the world.
